Sealand Aerial Photography was established in 1978 and as such continues to be one of the oldest and respected Aerial Photographic companies in the UK. The Company was originally based at Goodwood Aerodrome in West Sussex and operated two Cessna fixed wing aircraft. Oblique and vertical survey photography was undertaken using medium format film Hasselblad and Pentax cameras.
In 2004 the Company Founder wished to retire and “Sealand” was subsequently purchased by two of the current Directors, Philip Huxham and Malcolm Lamb. Although the aircraft remained hangared at Goodwood Aerodrome the offices were moved to Pitlands Farm just fifteen minutes away by road and 5 minutes by air to the Pitlands Farm airstrip. The Farm continues to be the Companies home today. In 2004 market forces necessitated a move to new technology and Sealand immediately adopted the use of digital cameras. The Company continues to supply many clients that have remained loyal for thirty years and has also a substantial blue chip client base across several different market sectors.
